In an excerpt from the book published in the New York Daily News, Miller talks about her relationship with the Aerosmith frontman. She writes: 

Although I was involved with Steven, I knew he wasn’t exactly a marriage prospect for me. Like some of the other rock musicians I had come across through interviews, etc., he seemed unusually childlike and in need of supervision. Did he, say, know how to use one of those new bank machines to get cash? Would he get lost in the subway? It didn’t matter; those situations would never come up. He was taken care of by a management team; there was always an itinerary and chaperone ready.
