1) Pacific Rim

When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, start rising from the sea, a war begins that takes millions of lives and consumes humanity's resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon is devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge.

2) After Earth

In the distant future, a legendary general (Will Smith) and his 13-year-old son (Jaden Smith) crash-land on a long-abandoned and now dangerous Earth. The son must travel alone to recover their rescue beacon.

3) Oblivion

Jack Harper (Tom Cruise) is one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth. Part of a massive operation to extract vital resources after decades of war with a terrifying threat known as the Scavs, Jack’s mission is nearly complete. Living in and patrolling the skies from thousands of feet above, his soaring existence is brought crashing down when he rescues an attractive female stranger from a downed spacecraft. Her arrival triggers a chain of events that forces him to question everything he knows and puts the fate of humanity in his hands.

4) Star Trek Into Darkness

After being called back home, the crew of the Enterprise find a seemingly unstoppable force which has attacked Starfleet and left the planet in chaos. Captain Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise are tasked with leading the deadly manhunt to capture the party responsible and settle an old score.

5) Europa Report

There’s not a lot to go on in this trailer, but here’s the plot. Six astronauts go to Jupiter's fourth moon, Europa, to try to find extraterrestrial life.
