A collection of early songs demoed by singer Eddie Vedder before he got the call to join Pearl Jam has surfaced online thanks to Antiquiet. The 13-track collection contains material recorded between 1988 and 1989. Some of the songs feature Vedder performing by himself, while others are recorded with Bad Radio, the band that Vedder was playing with in San Diego before heading to Seattle to join the group that was first called Mookie Blaylock and eventually turned into Pearl Jam.
Pearl Jam recently confirmed that it will play two shows this summer, one on July 19th at Chicago's famous Wrigley Field and the other on July 16th at London, Ontario's Budweiser Gardens. More U.S. concert dates for the fall are expected to be announced soon.
