"Bones," the chart-topping debut single from British act Young Guns, has been chosen as one of the official theme songs for WWE's Wrestlemania 29, which will take place this Sunday (April 7th) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. and air on pay-per-view beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET. "Bones" recently topped the rock radio chart, while the video is getting close to having two million views on YouTube.
Lead singer Gustav Wood's description of the song's subject makes it sound like a perfect fit for any competitive event: ["I wrote the lyrics and it was all revolving around this idea of 'I feel it in my bones.' That was something that I just knew would connect with people. So that was the first words and then it was all about trying to write the rest of the song around it. And I just, I kind of ended up playing with the idea that bones is obviously something that we all have and it's kind of almost a metaphor for inner strength and the idea that everyone has everything they need inside of them already. I liked the kind of simplicity of that idea and the universality of it."]
